As a little girl I always enjoyed reading history books and I found the history of England fascinating, especially in the Tudor dynasty period. This was a crucial time when I started to express my interest in the country. Additional motivation was a desire to improve my English language skills.
After a year spent convincing my parents for approval, I took English language learning courses for six weeks. After being in London for only couple of days I fell in love with this city and decided to stay for further studies.
Coming from a small country located in Central Asia, it was a great experience to meet different people from all over the world. London is one of the few cities where it is possible to experience almost every culture of the world. Living in London makes me feel like a world citizen.
I met my husband, Nazar, here in London, who also arrived for university education. We got married in April 2012 and we currently live in London. Only now, looking back, I realise that London has opened up many opportunities and life challenges for me. I have met incredible people and some of them have become an important part of my life.
