Although it was January when I first arrived, the weather was amazing and I had a couple of sunny and warm days. So, my first memories are walking by the Thames, getting on the London Eye and enjoying the most beautiful tourist spots of London. What struck me the most was how nice and clean it all looked and how many different cultures you could find around the streets.
At first, I studied English and played squash for a club. After a year, I got a job as an Accountant for an architecture studio. London, as one of the hubs of Europe, offered me the opportunity to travel to a lot of cities I never dreamt of. It also gave me the chance to see many of the best matches of my favourite sport: squash.
Gabi, the photographer, made me feel really comfortable and relaxed while she took the pictures. I was surprised at how much attention to detail the task required and how she could clearly prefer one shot from a bunch where I could hardly see any difference among them.

NB: Gabriella Sancisi - www.gabriellasancisi.com - took some formal portraits of Guillermo but she also wanted to photograph him just after he'd finished playing a game of squash, which is how this portrait depicts him. A year or so after this portrait was taken, Guillermo and his wife decided to move back to Argentina.
